If you like Fannie Flagg (Fried Green Tomatoes, Welcome Home Baby Girl) then you'll like this book. It takes place in a small town in Missouri and involves several of the characters in her previous book, Welcome Home Baby Girl. I enjoyed the many references to this part of the country, since I grew up here, but it also had several endearing characters, which it followed over 50 years or so.
