This was a quick and easy read. I likened it to Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood and Saving Graces, as it follows a group of women who find strength in each other to cope with whatever life throws at them. It starts with a group of 5 women who form a book club, which lasts over 30 years. It's a chic book, definitely, but if you like that sort of thing then I recommend it. I enjoyed it, and found it to be a nice "escape" which didn't cause me to have to think too hard.

That's what initially got my attention also, Kris! That description fit me to a T yesterday as I spent most of the day seething about this or that and I ate a giant-sized Hershey bar for breakfast. Today is a better day, thank goodness!!!Awake is the new sleep!
