  • An innocent, A broad--Ann Leary

A quick, light read about the birth of a baby and its American family born four months too early in England. This autobiographical account details Ann Leary's story into motherhood which began on what was to be a quick second trimester visit to England with her then unknown comedian husband. (She is Denis Leary's wife).

The read is entertaining, but not earth shattering.

I read this recently (within the past six months) and agree with Kelly's assessment, but I also want to say that some of the descriptions in the book made me laugh out loud. The author really knows how to turn a phrase so that it leaves the most humorous impression possible.
