  • All the President's Men

I just read this for the first time. Thirty years after the fact, it bears so much relevance to current affairs. It's about a government whose philosophy says that they're above the law, and can use any means to thwart their enemies or reward their friends, because they're right.
Have things changed in thirty years? I think so - politicians today are probably much better at covering their tracks. At least we've learned lessons from Watergate, though not necessarily the ones we were meant to learn.

It's a good read. I'm gonna go try to find the movie in the library.

I loved this book. There was a movie made from it, I can't remember who was in it, maybe Robert Redford.
