  • The Pilot's Wife

OK- usually I don't like the Oprah selections- they're usually too depressing. But there I was, at the beach with nothing to read. The house had a selection of books- and I picked it up, figuring I'd hate it. Nope- it just sucked me right in. I usually prefer mysteries because they are brain candy, or non-fiction. It takes really good story to suck me in. I was done in a day and a half. READ IT if you haven't yet. and if nothing else- be happy that your spouse isn't a Pilot- for any number of reasons!

I read this a while back as well...actually, I am kind of hooked on Oprah's depressing reads My dad was a military pilot when I was growing up...and he began working for an airlines right before I graduate high school...within a few years, he was divorced and remarried .........and my mom would tell you that that book is not fiction....

Just don't read it while you are on a plane like I did!

        I really liked the book.

I'm going to buy it this week. It isn't a downer is it? I could use an "upper" right now.
