  • The diary of Bridget Jones

A friend of mine gave this to me as a very belated birthday present. Draw your own conclusions about what she was really trying to say!

It is hysterical and speaks of the neurotic side that we women all harbor within. Has anyone else read this? Is the movie out yet?

This book was really funny. The movie came out last year. My 18 year old daughter gave me the book!!!!! We watched the movie together, and really laughed.

I just finished reading "Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas", this was a an 8 tissue book (on a scale of 1-10)!!

I definitely have to see this movie, the book was hysterical. Bridget is my type of woman: funny, intellligent, and seriously neurotic!

I rented the video last week and laughed my butt off! Thanks for all the recommendations!

I think that I saw the sequel to this book at the airport book shop--I'll check it out and give you all the info.

I laughed out loud so often that I had to warn my room-mate that I was "just" reading. I figured she would thing something was going on in my bedroom! I loved it!

Has anyone read the sequel to this book, "The Edge of Reason"? Would you recommend it? It is on my list and I'm wondering if it is worth the read.

My friend Leslie read it and said it's just as funny as the first.

O.K. I picked up this sequel to Bridget Jone's Diary this weekend and I finished it in one day! It was AWESOME, even better than the first book. This is a great little pick-me-u when you're feeling down. I guess that I see so much of Bridget in myself that I find her absolutely endearing.

This is a great book for anyone who is a) insecure b) reads too many self help books c) fails to truly understand men d) loves their girlfriends or e) seems to always be one beat behind the music of life. Hmmmm. I think that this list includes everyone on the boards. Seriously, next time you are sad, READ THIS BOOK!

I read both of them, and they are both GREAT! If you liked Bridget Jones' Diary, you'll love The Edge of Reason. I found myself wondering when a third book might be available. It took me a while to wean myself from needing a daily dose of Bridget!
