We went to the bookstore last night and I bought "Joy in the Morning" by Betty Smith. Has anyone read this? I read the jacket and it was unbelievable - I thought I had just picked up an almost autobiography of us! It is about a young woman who follows her husband to another city while he is in law school - she leaves her family and friends - it's their 1rst year of marriage - and it seems to be a personal journey of how they learn to rely on each other. I cannot wait to read it!

so far so great! i am through chapter 6 and i just started reading last night! it's always a good sign if i can finish a book within the week! the characters, the emotions are wonderful so far - it was written in the early 1960s so it is also neat to read about life in days past - because the feelings don't change.
