The Weight of Water-- Anita Shreve

My opinion-- so-so. Not a gripping, can't put it down kind of book by any means. I thought she spent way, way too much time on character development and then a split second on the actual events of the book. Blah.

I think she also wrote Midwives, which I enjoyed. I guess you never know.
