If you can tolerate reading a book by Dr. Laura Schlessinger, you might enjoy this one. I personally felt like I got a lot out of it. I read it right before reading "The Bitch in the House" and these two kind of balanced each other out. In a nutshell, she talks about being nicer to your spouse even when you don't feel like it or don't think they deserve it and you will reap the benefits. I've been trying it out and I feel it working. Not only do I feel like a better and kinder, less bitter wife, my husband feels more loved and appreciated and feels like doing things to make me happy. Basically, nice begets nice.
