by Kazuo Ishiguro who also wrote The Remains of the Day. This book was just nominated for the Booker prize. It is a haunting ethical story about three people who were educated at an elite private school in England. The nature of the school and the history of the three main characters is slowly revealed and is shocking and so sad. If you read the amazon.com reviews, they give away the entire plot, but I didnt know any of it, which I much preferred. I finished it last night but have been thinking about it all day.
