I just read these two. They are true escapist reading. Funny and light. There are some ... inaccuracies... that drove me batty, but I'm picky. The Devil Wears Prada is about a young woman who goes to work for a Vogue type magazine and is the assistant to the editor from hell. Everyone Wroth Knowing is about a young woman working for a event planning/PR firm in NYC. It is heavy on the celebrity/trust fund baby party culture.

I just finished The Devil Wears Prada. It is (loosely?) based on real life Vouge Editor in chief Anna Wintour. I enjoyed it and found it to be a quick read.
Hopefully I can have a *me moment* this weekend and go see the movie.

I read the book and saw the movie and have to saw that although usually I much prefer a book to a movie, I thought both were great in this instance....Comment
