  • So Many Books, So Little Time: A Year of Passionate Reading

    by Sara Nelson

I just finished this book, and thought it was okay. It wasn't quite what I was expecting, though. I thought the premise of the book sounded really neat--The premise is that the author, an editor in NYC, decided to read a book a year and write about it (this is nonfiction, by the way).

Each book she reads/writes about ties into a story about her own life during this year. I thought the stories about her life weren't that interesting, and many of the books she chose (nearly all fiction) seemed obscure (I had only heard of a handful of them). Some of her stories were interesting--like the one about reading Charlotte's Web and discussing the book with her son.

Overall, I'd say the book was okay.
