  • You, Me, and Dupree

We watched this last weekend and thought it was ok. It felt kind of aimless for the first part of the movie, I really couldn't tell which direction it was going to go. I read a review where it was said that this movie felt like it could have gone in any number of directions and then decided to go in all of them all at once. It was good, mindless entertainment though. And Owen Wilson kills me, he's so hilarious in this.

I really liked this movie. I thought the first 3/4 was great--I didn't like the ending, though. The first 3/4 of the movie was hilarious. I liked the development of Dupree's character. I thought the situations he got himself into were very funny. I thought Kate Hudson was excellent in the movie. Overall, I'd give it 4 stars out of 5. The ending was just kind of boring, in my opinion.

We thought this was far too predictable. You knew about 30 seconds into the film what each character was supposed to do by the end.

I actually got up and checked in here last night while it was on. My husband told me to rate it on Netflix "no more than two."
