  • Kinsey

Saw this for the second time the other night. Great movie!!!!! Loved the acting and loved the story. I think it's a very fascinating story--the fact that before Kinsey such little was known about sexual behavior. Highly recommended!

Interestingly enough I had an uncle who attended his class @ IU.

Really? I thought Kinsey was born in the late 1800's.

          Wikipedia
Alfred Charles Kinsey (June 23, 1894 – August 25, 1956), was an American biologist and professor of entomology and zoology who in 1947 founded the Institute for Research in Sex, Gender and Reproduction at Indiana University Bloomington, now called the Kinsey Institute for Research in Sex, Gender and Reproduction.
...yep he was a student at IU. Like I said I come from older parents...my dad was born in 1924 and I am referring to his eldest brother... so yes veggie he was there!

            Total aside:

It's funny how stepping back in to the last century just seems impossible. I recently read that Humphrey Bogart was born in 1899. That seemed totally bizarre to me, even though I'm well aware he was middle aged during his film career in the 40s. 1899?

Was Kinsey born in the late 1800s or not? Maybe I should just see the movie.....

No...I'm slow. :> I skipped right over to the info on the institute - and your comments.

                I see it now.
