It didn't stay true to the book, but was well done and interesting. DH liked it, but he thought it was just black humor and blanched at the thought that it was Burroughs memoir.

Good for a rental. Glad I didn't pay to see it. Gwenyth Paltrow was AWFUL.

just saw it, and the way the kids were "possitioned" at 13 really unnerved me, and wish i hadn't seen it - totally made me ill. But some of the hummor was priceless - my fave was Bible dipping - to funny , but didn't justify the story line to me.

Another indie film I saw had an older woman having sex conversations with a 5 yr old and I about threw up. I mean things happen, but it doesn't mean I want to view them via movie.

They didn't have it at Blockbuster last night. I loved the book but I heard the movie wasn't a very good rendition. Sad, I was looking forward to it.
