Well, I think we all know that this won "Best Picture" this year, we FINALLY got to watch it and thought it was FANTASTIC. Absolutely amazing. There's a ton of really shocking violence, and a lot of foul language so if you're not into that you might not want to see it. I actually thought Leonardo DiCaprio was incredible in this, and I'm not generally a Leo fan. Great storyline, great acting. Really good movie.

We thought it was a good movie too, but not for everyone for the reasons you stated. I am also not a big Leo or Matt Damon fan but didn't mind them in this movie. I thought Jack was great, a perfect role for him. Definitely a good movie.

Same goes for me... Excellent film. My SO and I went to see it in the theatres. THey are still playing it here! The movie was great... and very long! I want to watch it again so I can really put all the pieces together.

We rented this the other day. It was really good.

The best part is staring at Leo. He grew up nicely.

I loved Leo in that movie and it was generally good but the editing really bothered me. I can't believe that woman won. I'd list the stuff that bugged me but don't want to ruin it for those who haven't seen it.

Excellent acting and cast. Loved that aspect.

The ending did NOT do it for me.
I did not like the ending. It was too yeah right....like he'd DO THAT.

I am not a Leo fan and he was marvelous. (and um...totally yummy in a bad boy your mom would never approve way. )

I cannot believe Arkin won the Oscar OVER Leo.
