    OMG. I totally get it- why everyone and their mothers are buzzing about Jennifer Hudson. The woman is amazing. The voice is enough but she's one heck of an actress, too.

    Of course Beyonce is gorgeous, Eddie Murphy is fantastic and Jamie Fox is great.

    It actually made me slightly more sympathetic to Diana Ross now.

    It's fantastic- great plot, great actors, great costumes and make-up and the music? It's going to be ordered ASAP.

    I liked it too! The cast did a great job. The music gave me goosebumps!

    I will say that the script didn't work for me like say "Chicago" did. When the "Dreamgirls" cast broke into song (that was not a performance for an audience)....it wasn't as seamless as Chicago.

    I liked it though.
    I can see why Jennifer Hudson won and why Eddie was nominated.
    Beyonce IS beautiful. Sheesh!

      Not my favorite musical ( I am a total Rent head), but the music was nice.
