  • Shrek the Third

We went. It was fine. TONS of pop culture references like #1 and #2 which is funny for the adults.

The kids thought it was silly but they were interested and liked it.

The pace of the Shrek movies have increased I think. The first one had scenes that were frenetic but the whole movie wasn't that way.

This movie goes from scene to scene so quickly.

    I'd give it a B-

What she said, although I wouldn't be so benevolent with the grades. Perhaps a C + at most.

This Shrek wasn't the shrek of old. My two year old was mildly freaked out by the Shrek babies. However, I have heard the "babies poop, cry, and eat" line from both kiddos about a thousand times.

You have to admit, the donkey singing "Cat In the Cradle" was funny...

My husband and kids loved it ... but they aren't actually "movie critic" material.

I opted to stay home and take a nap. I figure I'll surely see it 1,000 times on DVD.
