This is a great movie about naivete and the lure of power. Forest Whitacre, who plays the Ugandan dictator, Amin is outstanding. He will definately have you cringing on the edge of your seat.
The film is about a young, naive Scottish doctor fresh out of medical school, who desires to do medical missionary work in Uganda. However, by happenstance he befriends the president/dictator and falls for the material excesses and the women the president bestows upon him. In his naivete and quest for pleasure he is blind to the web that dictator is weaving, and ends up paying the price. Very good, and full of suspense.
