I thought this was pretty funny. Took DW for a matinee ($5.00 each before noon

Anyway, I thought it was a good movie. It is "R" rated so there is some language and adult material, but we enjoyed the movie. It has some of the same guys as the 40 year old virgin... If you liked that movie, you will probably like this one.

    I give it 4/5 stars.

It was excellent and raised some interesting issues. Great acting from both Katherine and Seth. Really funny movie but I felt it was more of a drama than a comedy. The subplot of the sister and her husband's marriage issues was very interesting and a nice complement to the main story line.

I'd give it 4.5 our of 5 stars, because I thought the material about Seth's friends was too long and overdrawn. Overall, a must see!!!!!!

It was funny, and my only complaint is that it was too long! 2 hours for a comedy?!

We finally got a chance to see this over the weekend -- we really don't get out much. I was actually mildly disappointed in it. Didn't think it was close to 40-Year-Old Virgin and in the end thought it was kind of a cliched romantic comedy. My OB wife thought there were some accuracy issues, but she's just over analyzing or something . That all said, I still thought it was quite funny and a good way to spend a couple of hours. I probably just waited too long to see it, especially with all the good words on it, my expectations were too high.

I thought it was really poignant and funny in the way it saw both sides. The girls realized that nagging and expecting perfection wasn't getting them anywhere and the guys realized that the girls just wanted to see more of them because they loved them.

Maybe I'm just a cheeseball but I love when movies point out something that's applicable to every day life. I felt the same way about 'The Breakup'.

Finally watched this. It was amusing. My dh was floored that I rented it b/c I don't usually go for gross-humor comedies. I agree that the crap with Ben's friends was drawn out way too long. And Ben irritated me in general. But it was amusing after all.

                    Re: Knocked Up

This household gives it mixed reviews. I enjoyed it and thought that there were a few very funny moments. DH was kind of "eh" about it. I enjoyed the portrayal of the crisis that a first unexpected pregnancy brings to a relationship. I also enjoyed watching the sister and husband navigating the pitfalls of marriage, kids, jobs, and suburbia. Parts of this movie conveyed with laser accuracy the ups and down of being a grownup. Parts of it were "eh".

I was pleasantly surprised since I had pretty low expectations for it. DH and I gave it 2 thumbs up!

I just watched it. I thought it was OK. This isn't my genre, so... I liked the vegas stuff- that was funny.
