                I don't know that I'd call it my singular favorite, but I feel that Dead Poets Society must be mentioned in this thread.

                    Oh my gosh, do you really have to pick one? I LOVE 80s movies. If I had to pick just one, I'd say Steel Magnolias. But there are so many 80s movies that I watch over and over again.

                        I have to agree that Dead Poet's Society is a GREAT movie from the 80's!

                        Oh Captain my Captain...

                        I read the poem that line is from to my 7th graders 4 years ago and they recognized that line and knew the movie! I don't feel so old after all!
