  • question about Knocked Up Unrated version

So I was waiting to watch this for DVD, and now it's only in the Unrated Version- does anyone have any idea how much grosser it is? I don't like gross comedies... I usually don't like comedies, so should I bother? (For instance I couldn't make it thru the 40 yr old virgin.)

I've only seen the unrated version, so I don't have anything to compare it to. It wasn't horribly gross (I didn't like 40 Year Old Virgin either). Lots of the f*bomb ... that's about it.

Thanks- I can handle the F bomb. I like the actors, so I did want to see it. I'll just wait til the parents have gone home.

Wait until the parents have gone home. We got the unrated version while my dad and Rose were here and truly....I was mortified......

Really? The unrated version isn't even that bad on the scheme of unrated versions. Most of our comedies are in the unrated version. If you're going to watch you might as well get the most out of that rated R movie.

Yeah, I would have DIED if my parents were with me when I watched it...

              Really?

Maybe because all of my parent's siblings were stoners in the 70s...

Nothing would faze them at this point. (oh, and my Brother and SIL got a ginormous bong as a wedding present. It was a truly proud moment.)

I didn't think it was that bad and definitely wouldn't have a problem watching it with my parents. We saw Borat with IL's and even that wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

We come from different backgrounds, girls!!!

My mom can't stand even "The Amazing Race" because the contestants cuss... Even though they bleep it out--- she rolls her eyes, clicks her tongue, and says, "Peggy, What ARE you watching???" (Dripping criticism.)

So no, "Knocked Up" wouldn't go over well!!!
