  • Sweeney Todd

I went to see it tonight and am even more in love with Johnny. Whoknew he had such an awesome voice. It was very Tim Burtonesque but in a good way. There were a lot of teens at this movie who you could tell had no idea that it was a musical before they got there. That was kind of funny to watch. I can see this one winning some awards big time.

We watched it a couple months ago. Yeah ... lots and lots of blood. I prefer the stage version, but if it had to be adapted to a movie, I think Johnny and Helena did a good job.

I really enjoyed it though! DH and I walked around the house communicating via song for the rest of the night

Finally saw it and I didn't know the story beforehand....and was rather disturbed by it. I think the movie styling, acting etc were all great but the storyline I could've lived without. I thought maybe it was just preg hormones but Russ was bothered by it too (surprisingly).

We just saw this last night- I liked it and was really getting into it when our Netflix version crapped out. We were able to watch the last set of scenes after having seen the first 45 minutes or so.

            Kinda gruesome...

            I enjoyed it though.
