White Oleander

I really wanted to see this movie because I read the book in my old book club a few years ago. I also thought the cast sounded great. I saw it today and I thought it was very well done. The acting was good, the story was compelling, and the visuals were amazing. It was slightly depressing, however, and I shed a few tears. Michelle Pfeiffer was awesome, as was the actress who played her daughter (I forget her name.)

Has anyone else seen it?

I wasn't in the right mental space I guess, becuase I ended up turning it off after about 20 minutes. I thought the acting was great, but I was sooooo bored. Maybe I'll give it another try sometime.
