A Mighty Heart

The story of Marianne Pearl, the wife of Danny Pearl who was killed by terrorists while covering a story in Pakistan. It's more of a documentary with drama type of story. At times it is really boring and drawn-out, and it's hard to get into b/c you know what happens. I thought it was worth it, but could've done without it too. DH didn't like it- he fell asleep about 1/4 of the way through...

It was well-acted, just a hard story to get into.

It is probably something I should see, but I just can't stand Angelina Jolie. I mean, she's really gorgeous and a good actress, etc., etc., but she seems like such a freakin' weirdo. And kind of tacky, with the husband-stealing and all. Ick. It's hard for me to "cheer" for her in the movies.

If it's any consolation, she really doesn't look much like herself in the movie! Good makeup job- and with her french accent, she doesn't sound like herself either...
