We saw this this evening and really enjoyed it. There was some superb acting! Ellen Page is so talented!

I loved the shots taken at the medical profession.

I saw this tonight. I thought it was okay. I didn't go into it with an open mind - I'd heard a scathing review (particularly of Dennis Quaid), and kept going back to it in my head. It was rather slow in parts, and then things wrapped up rather neatly/quickly. I really hated Dennis Quaid's charater - he's supposed to be a curmudgeon, and is one, but it almost seemed painful for him to play. I enjoyed SJP's performance, and Thomas Hayden Church's -- and thought Ellen Page was okay. I'd say it's a good matinee (I paid $5 - which is great b/c I paid $40 for childcare!), or rental, but would have been irritated if I'd paid full price for it.

I've been calling DH "not a complete waste of a gene pool" all day. We really liked this movie and also enjoyed barbs at the doctors.
