  • HP & the Half Blood Prince

The trailer has been released http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/07/2 ... 15744.html . It looks like young Tom Riddle is played by Ralph Fiennes nephew - pretty cool!

Just hearing the tinkling of the music makes me excited - but mugglenet.com says it's still 113 days until the release date. One thing I'm kind of worried about - mugglenet says there is an added scene at the beginning of the movie where Bellatrix and Greyback attack the Burrow. It's the first time they've added stuff that didn't happen in the book - and part of the reason I've loved the movies is that they've stayed so true to the books (they've had to cut stuff out due to time, of course). Apparently JKR approved the scene or it wouldn't have gone in - so hopefully it's not going to be ridiculous.

As though the fact that a 35 year old woman is sitting at her computer in Kansas typing about a Harry Potter movie isn't ridiculous already.

Well there is a 31 (almost 32) year old woman in Minnesota that is just as obsessed. We were watching the most recent movie the other night and once you've finished the books I think the movies are that much better because you can look at someone and see how they end up. There were so many things I wanted to tell DH and he just glared at me b/c he isn't reading the books, only watching the movies!

    I can't wait!

If obsessing about HP is wrong, I don't want to be right.

      I'm very, very excited!

You are talking to someone who went to a Harry Potter book release party (for the 6th) at the age of 23 dressed as Hermione!

          So excited for the movie!

I came across this article yesterday.

                http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,404681,00.html

It seems WB might be trying to avoid releasing the movie when Radcliffe is galavanting around nekked on stage. It's not as though we don't already KNOW about it! I just wanna see the mooooooviiiiiieeeeee!

I don't buy it either - the original story or one that I heard was that movies premier better in the summer - well duh! So that is why they're pushing it - ridiculous!
