  • The Diving Bell and the Butterfly

Its a true story about the editor of the French Elle Magazine, Jean-Dominique Bauby, who suffered a stroke and was diagnosed with Locked in syndrome (LIS). The movie is shot subjectively from his point of view. Patients with LIS are cognitively alert but are able to communicate only through eye movements.

Very touching. Heres the post I wrote from my blog: http://editedtales.blogspot.com/2008...butterfly.html

I really appreciated the POV this film took... I thought it was incredibly moving.
