  • Lars and the Real Girl

    Netflix movienight.

So, first thing is that it's billed as a comedy it's more a dramedy. There are definitely laugh out loud moments but...

It's the story of a man who has a 'relationship' with a blow-up doll. He's completely delusional. The story is about how his family and his community learn to cope with Bianca. (the doll)

It's actually a really sweet story and we both enjoyed it. Anyone with any interest in psychology will REALLY like it.

No- it takes place in someplace that looks really cold- like Wisconsin or Minnesota.

I was thinking about my description- I have to say that at no point is his relationship sexual.

The interviews on the extras part of the dvd are hilarous. Ryan Gosling and Bianca do the interview 'together' and they end up getting into a fight and he storms out of the interview.
