I know this movie's been out forever but we finally saw it this weekend. Maybe it's me but I didn't like it. I don't like movies where it's a guessing game of what's reality, dream-state, or just plain nonsense. And Penelope Cruz is way overrated. She has too many features in common with my least favorite breed of dog - the chihuahua.

LOL, I have to agree. I hated the movie. My daughter told me not to see it because she walked out after the first 30 minutes.

I'm with you. Didn't like this one at all. Maybe it was Tom Cruise playing Tom Cruise, whom I'm desperately sick of; maybe it was Cameron Crowe's smug, hipper-than-thou pretention (although I guess it's about time he put out a bad movie after Jerry McGuire and Almost Famous) or the big explanation scene at the end, ("Oh, thanks, but maybe you could have thrown us some clues earlier in the script instead?") It made me wonder what the original Spanish film was all about. This is one of those I'm glad I never saw in the theatre.

The previews for this movie completely mislead me. I thought it was going to be a fatal attraction/you-done-me-wrong type affair.

I was completely confused and then got really bored. I hate to not know the endings of things, even really bad movies so I finished watching it. I kept thinking, it's going to get better and consoled myself to watching some eye candy (Tom Cruise), then came the part when I didn't even get to see his face because of the mask. I was really disappointed.

          Overally, this movie was terrible.
