    Hilarious!

The script was clever and it didn't have an overload of crass jokes. It was actually a relief to not have to sit through a movie with Seth Rogen...

Paul Rudd and Jason Segel did a great job.

I was just reading about this movie last night. We rented "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" (hilarious) and DrK loved it. "I Love You, Man" was on a list of "If you liked Forgetting Sarah Marshall. . . " recommendations.

I saw this on Friday, and I loved it! I haven't laughed that much during a movie in a long time. It actually made me a little sad, though, since I started thinking about the fact that I still don't have any good, close friends here. Yeah, leave it to me to find meaning in a comedy...

I thought this movie was so great! It officially cemented my Paul Rudd love! Cute cute cute! And I LOVED Jason Segal's dog!

Dh was in a funk after we saw this movie. Of course, I told him that he's already got a best friend, even though he's thousands of miles away. My best girlfriend is also far away, but these are the buddies we can absolutely count on for anything -- and when you do see them, you can pick up exactly where you left off.

          I loved the Chocolat/Chocolate dialogue.

I just saw this with DrK tonight. I thought he'd love it because he enjoyed Forgetting Sarah Marshall so much. He did, but after the movie, he got into the same "I don't have any cliff friends" funk as alison's dh did. He kept saying that he didn't have a best man at our wedding. . . but I didn't have a MOH either. (We limited the wedding party to family and I don't have any sisters, he doesn't have any brothers. My mom held my bouquet, his dad held the rings. . . It seemed silly to just tag people so we'd have an even wedding party.)

We really liked it too, and I'm absolutely in love with that dog. DH was also always a girls kind of guy, most of his friends were female. He was never a beer & sports kind of guy. But this also means that he gets jealous when I have a day/night out with my girlfriends. May be I should set him up on some mandates? :P
