  • PONYO Go See IT!!!

I took the kids (sans the baby) to this on Sunday. It's WONDERFUL. The ages of kids I took were: 13, 10, 8, 8, and 5. They all loved it, and so did I which is just unusual for me because I usually can't stand *kid* movies. This was very endearing and different. It's Japanese animated and produced, but this American-released version features English speaking actors to do the speaking parts, so your kids won't have to read subtitles or anything like this.

Anyway, just thought I'd give a shout out. Seriously, this movie blew me away. I loved it.

Aloha from paradise! And the other side of training!

Thanks Peggy, I wasn't too sure about this movie. Maybe I'll take the older ones to see it this weekend.

My kids LOVED Ponyo! No surprise, though, because they are HUGE Hayao Miyazaki/Studio Ghibli fans! (We own 8 of his movies, so far.) DH didn't want to see Ponyo because of the Little Mermaid storyline.

DH wants to see if, he loves Miyazaki past work. I had never heard of him before.

DH and I are going to see it tomorrow. One of the theaters here does a deal, any movie before noon is only 5 bucks.
