So all the people who have seen it, is it any good? I am going tomorrow to see it. I am dragging DH so I don't have to go alone. He is not happy about it, but I went to Star Trek so this is payback...

Wait, you need payback for watching the eye-candy that is the bridge crew of the new star trek? Really?

Well that part was good, but the conversation that I had to listen to from him about how this movie changes the whole star trek thing, was not.... And then I called it Star Wars, which apparently is a big no no..

haha. yeah that would be a big no no. I was brought up watching both, so I know what he is talking about but I can see where it would not be enjoyable for you.

DF just told me he saw a TV report where they interviewed people in line to see New Moon--people flew in from EUROPE to see it! Crazy!

I just got back from seeing it, and it was... much better than I thought it would be. I guess I went into it with really low expectations, but I was very pleasantly surprised. I think they did a much better job about sticking to the book than they did with Twilight, and the acting was better.

Agreed. They did jack with the story, but frankly, the story in New Moon needed to be jacked with. Somehow Bella even ended up to be slightly less annoying. But I've got to say, the frolicking nearly did me in.

Bella was definitely less annoying. Not as much eye darting/twitching, which is what aggravated me in the first one. Everyone in the theater started laughing with the frolicking scene, I'm sure comedy wasn't what the directors had in mind hahah but it was just over the top. I used to not think Jacob was attractive. This movie completely changed my mind....ahh....talk about eye candy!

I've done the same thing! More than once

I'm dying to go see it and although DH is moaning and bitching about it, I'm dragging him anyway because out of all 4 of the books I know he'll enjoy this one the most considering his love for werewolves.

I've always considered myself a "Team Edward" fan based on the books, but once the movies came out and I saw the actors, that has completely changed my mind. Mmm mmm mmm!!!
