  • All time favorite movies.....

What were your favorite movies as a kid and what are they now? Who are your fav. actors/actresses?

  • #2
    As a kid:
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (still a favorite)
    Grease
Animal House (I was watching that when I wasn't even 10 years old yet!)
    Mary Poppins

As an adult: (in no particular order)
The Usual Suspects (don't usually like bang bang shoot em ups but this is a good one!)
Steel Magnolias (I like a good cry now and then)
    The Marrying Man
    Planes, Trains, and Automobiles
    The Jerk
    When Harry Met Sally

I'm sure there are more but that is all I can think of.
    Awake is the new sleep!

My favorite actor of all time is John Cusack so-

Say Anything- the ultimate movie of my late teens

High Fidelity- I LOVE this movie.

Gross Pointe Blank- The soundtrack is great, too.

Being John Malkovich- Complete mindtrip of a movie but I loved it.

Pretty much anything else the man has ever done!

However, I have expanded my horizons occasionally-

Foreign Films: The Red, White and Blue Series

Documentary: DOA- Not the one with Cher, this was a documentary of the British Punk Scene, interviews with a 16 year old Billy Idol, etc.

      Science Fiction/Mystery: the Sixth Sense

      Chick Flick: Sleepless in Seattle

Classic: Father of the Bride- Spencer Tracy and a very young Elizabeth Taylor

      Holiday Movie: A Christmas Story

and finally- comedy: Animal House. I think I've memorized the entire movie. Followed closely behind is anything by Monty Python, too.
