I went to the 3D version of this movie a few weeks ago. The move was fun to watch. The 3D was great. The plot however, was a little lacking. I was also expecting a lot more from Mr. Depp. I usually LOVE him in movies but his part was not the major in this movie and I think he was limited on making it a true Johnny Depp movie.
All in all, I'd give it a B+. We had a good time watching it, didn't regret going at all. However, it could have been better. Note: I didn't pay to go. I got a gift certificate. If we had dumped $30 into it, I may have felt more disappointed. haha
