Ok, so I think DH and I are going to see Harry Potter tonight after our anniversary dinner! Last year in med. school he managed to read all the books on his Kindle. That was the month we didn't see him. I however, have never read the books and always get confused when watching the movies. This movie also looks really dark and scary.

I stopped by the theater yesterday because I just couldn't believe that the 8 PM showing in IMAX was sold out. Yep, it was sold out as of at least yesterday morning. The regular shows weren't so you might get lucky with that, but I wanted to see it in IMAX.
Soo... I'm seeing it tonight at 11. I just couldn't wait until tomorrow.Cristina

I have tickets for tonight but I am worried I am going to get there and only front row seating is going to be left (we have a dinner we have to attend first) Hopefully our friends can get there early and save us seats. If not, I am returning the tickets because I want to be able to really enjoy the show and not have a neck ache.. I realllly can't wait though!-L.Jane

I had Great Seats. Probably the best adaptation of the book. Though it probably helps that they cut it into two parts and had a bit more time.-L.Jane

IMAX was completely sold out for Fri. and Sat. so we went to the late 10:50 regular one and there were plenty of seats. As usual I was confused and kept asking DH questions. I think it's time for me to break out the Kindle and start reading.

An avid reader of the whole series, from the beginning... Went with a group, including DH (who hasn't read the books) - cried 3 TIMES during the movie. DH was constantly like "What happened just now?"
Also, surprised that people brought their small children -- did no one tell them how DARK this movie is? It would have given my 4 year old self nightmares. Eh, I digress.
Anyway, it was AWESOME, and even though I cried, I loved every minute. Wish they had started doing this all the way back with the 4th movie - there's just so much in each book that they had to skip or cut in movie 4, 5, & 6.Wife to Family Medicine attending, Mom to DS1 and DS2
