    Here's a plot summary from a website:

Set in the mid 1950s, a once-great Montana frontier town is scheduled to be destroyed when a new dam under construction will flood their land. The last few proud residents refuse to leave, including a frail orphan boy with an elaborate fantasy life. An independent drama by the Polish Brothers.

I thought it was beautifully filmed. The orphan boy is adorable and the movie is engaging although slow paced. A lot of use of puns and at times a little weird (felt like I was missing the artsy point or something), but definitely better than I thought it was going to be. Stars Nick Nolte, James Woods, Daryl Hannah amongst others. My bf described it as one of those movies you either love or hate.
