Matrix Revolutions

We saw this over the weekend even though it had gotten horrendous reviews, we sort of felt obligated to see the third - and hopefully, final - installment of this series. Anyway, I thought it was actually worse than the second (Matrix Reloaded), while my husband thought it was better. We both agree that it was a bad, bad movie with a very unsatisfying ending. While the conclusion (read: winner of the 'war') was very clear, the last 20 minutes or so of storyline was very confusing and didn't make much sense (to us). There are definitely some very good action sequences and special effects, but some of the stuff in between made me want to poke my eyes out. I can't really recommend this one, even if you are a fan of "The Matrix" franchise.

Sorry that i find this funny as I just sent DH out to have some down time to himself and he chose to go see this today. I hope he come home in a good mood and not all "Boy did that suck!" cause that's all I'll be hearing all night.

I finally got around to renting this and it sucked butt big time! Like Jane, I really enjoyed the first one, saw the second one, and felt obligated to see the third. They should have left it at the first one. But the object is to make money, right?

Extremely unsatisfying ending, and I found it hard to hear what they were saying half the time, no matter how loud I turned up the volume.

Very disappointing. :disappointed:
