    Speaking of what's appropriate for kids . . .

    You can look up a movie on screenit.com and get a breakdown of ALL the potentially objectionable material. It's VERY thorough and categorizes it: violence, profanity, alcohol/drugs.

    So for "Elf" under "violence" it lists, "After learning that he's a human, Buddy faints and falls onto a much smaller elf, smashing him onto the floor."

    And apparently "Mystic River" uses the f word 72 times! And "Elf" has "at least 3 hells." Oops, sorry, I missed those.

    It looks like a good site. I read about it on Roger Ebert, who recommends it as the best site for parents looking for this type of information.
