The Two Towers DVD Extended Version

I scooped up a copy yesterday and Mike and I watched it last night. We really thought the added scenes gave a lot of depth to this one, and loved the additional backstory on some of the characters--especially the explanation of why Boromir and Faramir acted the way they did. And at over three and a half hours, it was oh so nice to be able to pause the DVD and take bathroom or frozen Milky Way breaks.

My DH is desperate for this DVD, even though he has the first one without all the extra stuff. Maybe I should break down and buy it for him...it seems silly to me but he would love it. I'm glad to know you got something out of it.
