Mystic River

We saw this over the weekend and I thought it was really good. It's a story about 3 childhood friends, one of whom suffers a tragedy when they are young, and how they are all brought back together when another of the trio suffers another tragedy during adulthood. (I'm sure there's a better way to phrase that last sentence, sorry. ) Anyway, it's a very powerful story, and the direction (Clint Eastwood) and acting (Sean Penn, in particular - I might be biased though, I think he's always amazing) are superb. I would definitely recommend this, although I'll warn you that it's not exactly a feel-good type of movie.

I saw this, too, and liked it. It was pretty heavy at times, though. I thought the ending was slightly flat. But all in all, very good.

Very well acted and the cast was amazing. It's sure not a "feel good" movie but you kind of know that going in.

A definite rental worth the money now that it is out!

We saw this movie on our honeymoon in Mexico. We were there for two weeks and the movie was $3 so we couldn't pass it up.

I really liked this movie. The story was different and the acting was fantastic.
