  • Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

We saw this on Saturday and both really liked it. Parts of it were slightly confusing but it made for great post-movie discussion. Jim Carrey and Kate Winslett were in it (along with some other famous actors) and they were both amazing. I recommend this movie! It's a complicated premise but basically it's about erasing people from memory and what can happen when you do so.

I loved this movie. We saw it over the weekend and DH also really enjoyed it. The premise was very original and interesting, and some of the themes raised (fate, human connections) were really fun to think and talk about after the movie. Jim Carrey gave an excellent performance and wasn't his typical in-your-face self (DH, who is definitely not a Jim Carrey fan, said this was the first Jim Carrey movie he's liked).

We just rented this tonight and I enjoyed it. Not your typical movie, but thought-provoking for sure. I really think Jim Carrey is a good actor, whether he is in a comedic or a dramatic role.

I loved this movie-- it's one of my top 5 favorites. I saw it in the theater and rented it for BF to watch. He enjoyed it, but not nearly as much (he likes a more conventional set up).

We saw this on a flight back from California. (my husband's 19 yo nephew...which is significantly better than the 17 and 18 yo nephews both of whom were married two years ago, but I digress...)

We both enjoyed it and I moved it up on the netflix list because I want to see it without the 8 foot tall man pacing in the aisle...

We just saw this last night and really liked it. Before we watched this, I was afraid that all I would be able to picture during the film would be Ace Ventura or one of Carey's other silly characters. But Jim Carey's acting was so great that I forgot it was even Jim Carey shortly after the film started.
