This just came out on video. I hope it wasn't reviewed before and I missed it. This romantic comedy stars Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore. Sandler's character is a playboy vet working in a Hawaii aquarium who runs into Drew Barrymore (Lucy) in a diner. They hit it off until he finds out Lucy suffered an accident leaving her with no long term memory so she lives the same day over and over. The story revolves around all the different ways he tries to get her attention. The story is a stretch, but it is cute and there are some really funny parts. I even cried at the end.

Sandler produced the movie and all his usual friends are play a part including Rob Schneider. I normally don't like him, but I actually laughed out loud at his character for being so goofy.

I would recommend this for a light-hearted laugh.

    Jenn,

I love this movie. I saw it when it was in the dollar movie one weekend when Thomas gave me a few hours without the baby...and I bought it for him for Father's Day. We are suckers for these kinds of films. The part where he pretends his friend is beating him up was hysterical...

We just saw this on HBO. It was really cute in that Chick Flick way. OF course, all of the Sandler peeps were in it, which makes it that much funnier. I think Sandler and Barrymore may be one of the greatest comedic pairings of this generation. They are always so good together. This is one of those movies that you can tell that 1) they're making stuff up as they go along (especially Rob Schneider) and 2) they're having fun doing the movie.

I liked it too. It was cuter and less obnoxious than I expected.

We just saw this movie last night, it was pretty funny and somewhat touching, if you want to look that deep...but mostly it was a non-thinking comedy....my favorite! We enjoyed it.
