New Releases at the Movie Theatres...

We just came back from seeing this movie and I have to tell you it was pretty "cheesy." I should have known it from the beginning. The opening and credits looked pretty low budget and there were a lot of cheesy lines in the film. To give you an example, the main character talks to his horse who's very tired and turns to him and says, "I'll come back for you, my friend." Jeez! The chemistry b/w the main character and the girl was also very cheesy. Also, the special effects were not that great. There was a rain scene and it didn't even look like rain and my fiance asked me where this beam of light was coming from (it was supposed to be in the dark). The only thing I liked about it were the action scenes. The choreographer from "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" was involved and the moves were "cool." Other than that, it's definitely not worth your $7.50.

So, they part their separate ways and go back to their boyfriend/girlfriend. Ten years later they find each other again due to fate. It was ok but very predictable. I give it a B.

Back to the movie, it was very predictable...a little slow at times...but it was great to see NYC with Christmas lights and snow - if you want a romantic, feel good movie, I recommend this.
