Not too bad! The movie is exactly as it appears in the promos--Kate Hudson "inherits" her sister's kids after her sister dies. She's the wild sister, so it is a shock to everyone, but she ends up surprising everybody by doing a good job. No interesting plot twists, but is is light and funny and not a bad way to spend 2 hours.

We saw this on the cruise ship last week, and it's just as Sue says. The plot is pretty straightforward, so it's very light and enjoyable. I thought Joan Cusack was an odd choice for the other sister, but overall the movie was pretty good. Kate Hudson is very likable and I thought she did a good job. Probably a chick flick, though, as I don't think DH enjoyed it that much.~Jane
