This is a foreign film from Australia that won 8 Australian Academy Awards. How this happened I have no idea as it was one of the WORST movies I have ever seen.

Against the background of an Australian desert landscape, so much space and so few people, Sandy, a geologist, and Hiromitsu, a Japanese businessman, play out a story of human inconsequence in the face of the blistering universe. The end of the journey leaves no-one capable of going back to where they started from.
Basically, they go out into the bush, get stranded, get themselves unstranded, have sex a few times, then go skinnydipping during which the guy breaks his neck doing a shallow dive. Then the girl has to drive three days back from the bush and deal with returning his body to Japan via his wife without letting on that they were having an affair.
My advice- DONT SEE IT!
