  • The Worst Movies You've Seen!

I'll start with "The Quill". We rented it last night and the only thing that I can say is that it was the absolute most disturbing movie that I've watched in a really long time. I found it to be horribly violent...but not in the typical horror-film style (I don't do horror movies either). I expected this to be a bit more of a period piece, and came away from it feeling sick to my stomach...I literally had to sit in the bathroom for awhile (wimp!) and was so anxious that I couldn't fall asleep and then woke up several times. It was like a "psycho-terror horror" flick....bizarre, frightening, realistic and again.....disturbing!!!

Water Boy with Adam Sandler--I'm embarrassed to admit that we paid to see this in the theater.

Sweet November- Keanu Reeves is the absolute worst actor in the world. It could have been such a great movie except that I kept crining everytime he attempt to 'emote'. Yuck.

My husband dragged me to "Dungeons and Dragons" when it came out. That movie was so terrible I just burst out laughing (very loudly I might add) when the credits started rolling. I laughed so hard I cried when a group of teenyboppers behind us started declaring to each other it was "the best movie ever made". Really, only see this movie if want to torture yourself!

Town and Country with Warren Beatty, GOldie Hawn, Gary Shandling, etc. A whole lot of acting talent completely lost with this movie. I found myself thinking "Huh?' in the middle of it because it just made no sense.

Aashish and I went to see Feardotcom this weekend. What a total waste of money!! Though we stayed through the entire movie.....we both agreed afterward that it made absolutely no sense! I am sure that no one is expecting this movie to win any awards and it is probably not on anyone's list to see right away anyway, But I felt compelled to warn other's......it is not even worth a rental!

              Worst - EVER:

              -Dungeons and Dragons

              -Deep Blue Sea

              -Devil's Advocate

              -The Relic

              -Supernova

              -Star Trek: Insurrection

-The Island of Dr. Morreau (Marlon Brando/Val Kilmer version)

-Batman Forever (the George Clooney one)

-The Peacemaker (more bad George Clooney)

That's all I can think of at the moment - I'm sure I'll think of more....

I'm notorious for renting bad movies:

Cabin Boy (a horrible flick starring Chris Elliot I think)

Mr. Wrong (Ellen Degeneres stars in that, one funny

scene involving a clown, otherwise terrible--Frank and

I's first date, though, so memorable for that reason

                only!)

Very Bad Things (rented that one with my grandma, about

gave the poor thing a heart attack!)

That new movie with Mandy Moore, can't remember the name, but it was horrible and I never thought it would end.
                Awake is the new sleep!

Super Troopers: a bunch of hokey cops playing teenage pranks on civilians and each other. I am ashamed to say that my husband thought it was funny.

OH, here's more to add to the list:

                    -Starship troopers

                    -Congo

                    -Anaconda

-James and the Giant Peach (live action version - horrid thing)

-The Hunchback - Disney version (shudder)

                    -The Faculty

                    -Spawn (dumb, dumb, dumb)

I know I'll think of more....
