I thought this movie was going to be about drugs (a la Traffic) but it was actually about how 3 lives intersect and the assumptions people make about others. Very interesting and worth checking out, keeping in mind that the story is told in pieces that are out of order. If you find that annoying I doubt you'd enjoy it.

If you like 1) Benecio del Torres or Sean Penn or Naomi Watts, rent this movie

If you like really engrossing dramas that aren't necessarily heart-warming, rent this movie

If you like everything packaged up all tidy with characters that you really like- probably not such a great movie.

It is spaced differently- a la Pulp Fiction or Memento. I didn't find it annoying as much as it really made me want to get to the end to find out how all of this came together.

This is NOT a movie for the pre-teen or sensitve teen crowd, either.
