  • National Treasure

We watched this a couple of nights ago and both thought it was pretty good. Nicolas Cage is a treasure hunter who is looking for a mythical treasure that has been hidden for centuries, and the key to finding it is supposedly hidden on the back of the Declaration of Independence. There are a lot of elements from "The da Vinci Code" that make it very interesting and exciting (e.g., the Knights of Templar, lots of historical references, riddles/clues that have to be solved along the way), but honestly a lot of it felt pretty predictable. I was able to guess what was going to happen next in more than one scene, but the pursuit still feels exciting and fun.

I agree with migirl, this was a fun movie to watch. And of course it had its small patriotic moments where the music makes you be all proud to be an American. A fun family movie.
