This movie is hilarious! It's one of those movies where you laugh so hard that you end up missing some of the jokes; I'm going to have to watch it again just to hear the lines I missed!

Anyway, the humor is pretty sexual and raunchy, but we all (saw it with DH and my ILs) thought it was really good. For those who haven't heard/seen the previews... Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn (one of my new faves!!) play single guys who crash the weddings of complete strangers to pick up girls. One of them ends up falling for a girl that he meets at one of the weddings, they get whisked away for a weekend with her family, and hilarity ensues. Very, very funny and definitely worth seeing.

I know, I've had soooo many people tell me this already which makes me sad because we *love* going to the movies! This realization was the catalyst for us to have an awesome surround sound system installed in our basement this spring. We figured that if we won't be able to go out to see movies, we can at least enjoy them at home!!

WEDDING CRASHERS is way too long. We saw it on DVD last night--the DVD version is apparently 8 minutes longer than the movie... A 2-hour long raunchy comedy is more than I can handle. I sat there wishing I had a pair of scissors to cut parts out of it! I would have cut those extra 8 minutes and another extraneous 40!!! It was long and grueling.

So if Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson play Uncle Ned's children, wouldn't this then make them related to the girls they fall in love with??? Cringe.

We just saw this- finally. It was filmed at the same place that the Today show had the wedding last year- which is where my parents live. (Kent Island, Maryland)

Anyway, it was pretty hilarious. I agree with Alison that they probably could have cut some of it but nonetheless, it was very well done. Those guys are funny, funny men.

and how Vince Vaughn managed to keep a straight(ish) face with the scenes in the bedroom with the brother... and Jane Seymours character- can't you just picture her in real life?

          We enjoyed it.

I love this movie. I've probably seen it at least three or four times.
